Coco-n-huts in Andaman was a profoundly disappointing experience. Check-in was a chaotic start, with staff claiming our pre-paid reservation was missing. This set the stage for a stay marked by incompetence and indifference.The reception staff were consistently unhelpful, offering minimal communication and a cold, unwelcoming demeanor. Our initial room was plagued by a nauseating sewage smell, and while we were moved, the replacement was barely cleaner. The hotel itself is drab and poorly maintained, lacking any charm.Dining at the hotel was equally underwhelming. While the food was passable, the service was abysmal. Staff were unresponsive, and much of the menu was unavailable.The most egregious issue, however, was their complete unwillingness to assist with ferry bookings. The Wi-Fi was unusable, and cellular service was unreliable. Despite this, staff refused to help, even declining to share their mobile network. Instead, they directed us to a booking office a 15-minute walk away. This resulted in hours wasted standing in long queues, multiple frustrating trips back and forth to the hotel, and a significant disruption to our planned itinerary. Their refusal to provide even basic assistance was shocking and demonstrated a complete disregard for guest convenience. Ironically, they were perfectly willing to provide mobile Wi-Fi at checkout, ensuring we could conveniently pay our bill, but not to assist with a vital travel need.Coco-n-huts exhibited a severe lack of hospitality. The incompetent staff, poorly maintained rooms, and, most notably, their selective and self-serving offer of Wi-Fi access made our stay a nightmare. Avoid this hotel if you value your time and sanity.

Location.

Mattress of the bed was too soft. Water leakage from Wash basin in the bathroom. Water was not coming properly from the shower head. Restaurant service was not up to mark. The hotel provided free wifi connection, but most of the times it was not functioning.

The beach could do with a regular clean up. Some of the cleaning water supplied in the rooms was very bad.

Well maintained and spacious rooms. Lot of greenery, good restaurant. Ideal if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. Had an awesome private beach

Everything was good

The location of the hotel is good with a small private beach for relaxing only during the day time. The rooms are clean but less spacious.

The complementary breakfast was served a la carte and there was no option. Also with no staff around to assist for any second helping. The staff in the restaurant were unprofessional and rude, displaying a short temper when taking orders. When me with my family went to the restaurant at just 5 minutes past 9 for dinner, the restaurant staff behaved very harshly. They told us that though they have prepared our ordered dinner, they cannot let us have it inside the restaurant as they close the restaurant at 9pm. In fact, they just put our dinner outside our rooms.

Awesome experience.staffs are helpful and rooms are also neat and clean.Also just 2 min away by auto from the jetty.Totally value for money.

Cleanliness toilets we very dirty .I called your customer care they also not helped to change the room .they connect me to manager he was rude a telling me that we will not change room .we can’t to build a different room for u .we never asked to build but change the room .

I liked how the property is built among nature. Lot of coconut trees and a private beach was really good

Quite expensive considering the facilities provide. The budget double rooms r too small in size and the semi deluxe double bed rooms r overpriced

The resort was good and as well as the staff. The beach was connected with the resort and it was good.

But their representative in booking.com is a scam. Before going to their resort they confirmed me again and again that they will accept payment through credit card so I just took few rupee with me as I wanted to pay through my credit card. But at the reception, I understood that they were lying in the message. They don't have any international credit card facility or not even they accept dollar payment. I had to convert the dollar to rupee and that is also not available in the island legally. I had some loss also. They don't take payment through booking.com also

Thé staff on reception were amazing they went out of their way to help us in anyway they could. Thank you ?.The restaurant staff were also amazing and looked after us during our stay. Thank you ?.Everyone was always so polite and friendly with big smiles.

Excellent property with access to private beach. You can Seat on chair & beds at private beach. Experience the waves crushing on coast and veiw the beautiful sea green ocean. Property have all basic amenities . very neat and clean . Its restaurant serving good quality food but on little bit on higher side.

The rooms are quite big and have a shared balcony with cloth hanging racks and sitting arrangements. The food in the restaurant is good.

Service is poor, we asked for television channels multiple times but the DTH account was never renewed in our room. The description of our room mentioned 'seaview' however no sea was visible from the windows or balcony. They have a private beach access, however the beach is not that good and filled with mangroves and dead corals. Although its a breezy spot in the early morning and evening to relax.

We upgraded to a room in the main building which was pretty decent and clean! We were happy then!

Not enough global warning - the sea level too low at all times to enjoy the water at the beachALSO: Someone was trying to enter my room a few times. One time I was inside and the door was unlocked. Someone opened the door but noticed Im inside and left without saying anything. I havent seen the face, so I dont know if it was an employee or a tourist. After that I locked the door from inside. During the night someone tampered with the padlock on the outside of the door. Someone used a key to lock the padlock, but in a way that I still could open the door. I have no idea why would anyone tamper with it. It all made me feel that it was an unsafe place. :(

I liked the beach resort. It was a wonderful experience with only few people in the island

The hotel has different type of rooms. We booked standard room but got it upgraded to Deluxe Room. Good things: Location is center to laxmanpur, Bharatpur, Sitapur beaches and jetty. The facility is great. Separate lunch area. Cook was great ...all that we ordered were tasty. Not so good: Don't book standard rooms as it is small and smells bad. Deluxe rooms are good but their shower was not working, TV was not working and they offered a battery bike for rent for a day which was worst. The electric bike does not go beyond 25 speed and goes out of charge after a 20 km ride.
